Young Knights Chess Academy, founded by Candidate Master and FIDE Instructor Badrinath S., is a premier chess training academy based in Pondicherry, nurturing young chess talents locally and worldwide through both offline and online coaching.
With 15+ years of competitive playing experience, a 2200+ live FIDE rating, and 6+ years of coaching experience, the academy trains students across the globe from beginners to advanced tournament players.

Latest Major Achievement
Badri won 1st Place in the Rating Category at 49th Sitges Chess Festival 2025, Spain, and 2nd Place in Sant Marti Blitz Open 2025, Spain. He also won 1st Place in the Rating Category at Barbera Del Valles Open 2025 Spain.
Badri won the 1st Jaipur Classical FIDE Rating Tournament, scoring 8/9 points in a field of 500 players.
He was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of Rs.75,000.
